Habitat

The red panda is found in the biome of the Temperate Deciduous Forest. Their habitat is the bamboo forest in the cold, misty mountains of the Himalayas to southwest of China. The altitude ranges from 2,200 to 4,800 meters. This habitat is very cool and the air is moist which is good for the red panda. It also has a lot of trees such as the deciduous and the coniferous. There is also a lot of bamboo and rhododendrons, which are bushes with flowers, for the red panda. The red panda's home is usually a den made of hollow tree.
